JACKSON'S QUANDRY. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Jackson's Quandry" was printed in Ayrshire fiddler-composer John Hall's c. 1818 volume, along with several other jigs either with Jackson's name on the title or "by Jackson" appended next to the titles that do not mention his name. It is unknown by what authority Hall attributed these tunes to Irish gentleman piper biography:Walker 'Piper' Jackson.
