The Prairie Ramblers recorded "Bacon Rind [2]" in August, 1937, released on Conqueror 8830 (78 RPM) where it is credited to the group's left-handed fiddler Shelby "Tex" Atchison. It is musically unrelated to "Bacon Rind (1)," and includes vocalized calls for a square dance.
