Dublin dentist and collector biography:Henry Hudson (1798-1889) labelled this untitled jig "For the Violin", and, in his notes to the tune in The Dublin Magazine (Jan., 1841) took older Belfast collector Edward Bunting (still alive at the time) to task for neglecting violin repertory in his collecting of predominantly harp and vocal airs.
