Paddy Keenan, Gael-Linn CEF o45, LP (1975). He plays "Swallow's Tail Reel" on this recording. In looking through Richard K Spottswood's "Ethnic Music on Records: A Discography of Ethnic Recordings Produced in the United States, 1893 t0 1942," University of IL Press (1990), all of the entries for "Swallowtail" or "Swallow's Tail" were in sets labeled "reels." There is one entry for "The Dancing Master": Neil Nolan (banjo) & Dan Sullivan (piano) recorded "The Dancing Master" (an alternate title for "The Swallowtail Jig.") in NYC 26 July 1929 (BVE 55634-2) released as Victor V-29068.
