TUGGERMEN'S JIG. AKA and see - .. Canadian, Down-East/Maritime. Jig (6/8 time). D Major. AABB (Bayard): AABB’ (Perlman). Perlman (1996) cites the tunes provenance as the Canadian Maritimes. This traditional tune, popularized by Don Messer, has become known all over Canada and Northwestern U.S.
