TUMBLING DOWN TEADY'S ACRE. Irish, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. This tune, collected in King’s County from a Mr. McDermott, is a variant of "Spailpin a Ruin (A)," which itself is a variant of "Blackbird (The)." "Tumbling down Teady's Acre" is also a title in the 6/8 time tune family that includes "Billy McCormick's Jig," "Paddy Cronin's Jig," and "New Lesson."
