MISS MACKENZIE OF DELVINE'S JIG. Scottish, Jig. "Miss Mackenzie of Delvine's Jig" was composed by gamekeeper and fiddler-composer biography:John Crerar for a daughter of Edinburgh lawyer Sir Alexander Muir of Delvine, 1st Bart., who added the name Mackenzie to his when his great uncle inherited the estate of Delvine. Alexander had seven daughters and one son (see note for "annotation:Quickstep for the Young Knight."
