BARTLETT'S QUICKSTEP. American, Quickstep March (2/4 time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune was composed by Dr. John C. Bartlett of Chelmsford. Oliver Ditson bought Elias Howe's catalog of publications in the middle of the 19th century and republished Howe's collections, with the proviso that Howe refrain from publishing himself for the term of their agreement.
