The tune is named after a creek in Sangamon Co, IL. The Volo Bogtrotters recorded it on "The Backside of Buncombe," Marimac 9022, cassette (1989). In the notes we said that "Fred made this up by accident while warming up for a dance in St. Louis a couple of years ago."
