IVY LEAF HORNPIPE. AKA and see "Jim Clark's Hornpipe" (Cole), "Clark's Hornpipe (1)" (O'Neill), "Morpeth's Hornpipe" (Ryan/Cole). Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Nebraska. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was printed in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) as "Jim Clark's Hornpipe and "Morpeth's Hornpipe." It was collected in the mid-20th century under the "Ivy Leaf" title by Bob Christeson, from the playing of east Nebraska radio and contest fiddler Bob Walters.
