REEL DU TOURBILLON. French-Canadian, Reel (6/4 and cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Soucy researcher Jean Duval thinks this piece may have derived from the tune of a song. Soucy earlier recorded a version of the tune with accordion player Donat Lafleur under the title "Quadrille du peuple 3ème partie" (Starr 15533A, 1929)[1].
