MADE IN IRELAND. AKA and see "Spirits of Whisky (3)," "Tenpenny Bit (1)." Irish, Jig. A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title is unique to Harding's All-Round Collection (1905), whose editors presumably had no title for the well-known "Tenpenny Bit", and substituted their own, underlining the Irish provenance. Similarly, "Sprits of Whisky" (note American spelling of 'whisky'), found in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) is a title that usually goes with other well-known jigs.
