ZODIAC. AKA - "Zudio." AKA and see "New Dash (The)." English, Waltz. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. Gibbons originally set the tune in the key of B flat in his ms. The melody also appears in the music manuscript of fiddler John Burk, dated 1821, (also set in B flat albeit in the time signature of 6/8), Joshua Gibbons (Tealby, Lincolnshire, 1823), and the T.J. Dixon copybood (Lincolnshire, 1798).
