CARL ELLIOT'S HORNPIPE. Canadian, Hornpipe. Composed by fiddler Carl Elliot, born in 1928 in Pleasant Hills, Nova Scotia. As a teenager Elliot played fiddle and guitar for dances in a family band, along with his mother and brother. He resided in the late 1940's in Ontario, but returned to Nova Scotia to live.
