SCITUATE REEL. American, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Scituate Reel" is a composition of Anglo-American musical theater conductor and composer wikipedia:John_Joseph_Braham,_Sr. (1847-1919), who, as a teenager toured the United States as a violinist, playing in vaudeville and music halls. Later he became a music director and introduced the works of Gilbert and Sullivan to Boston and New York, and still later composed music for silent films.

Scituate is a town on the Massachusetts coast.
