JAUNTING CAR [2]. Irish (?), Reel (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The reel appears as simply "Irish Reel" in George H. Coes' Coes Album of Jigs and Reels (1876). By the time it was published in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) seven years later it had acquired the title "Jaunting Car [2]."
