LOWE'S REEL. Scottish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The reel was composed by John Cumming in honor of Scottish musician, composer and music publisher biography:Joseph Lowe (1796–1866), in whose collection the tune first appears (along with another of Cumming's compositions, "Cutty Sark"). See note for "Cutty Sark" for more on John Cumming and his relationship with Lowe.
