"Mr. Molison of Hillhead" was composed by dancing master and musician Robert Lowe, of Brechin, brother of biography:Joseph Lowe, who also plied the family trade. James Molison of Hillhead was a clerk of the town of Brechin, Forfarshire (Angus).
