TRIP TO LEEDS. English, Reel (cut time). England, Northumberland. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in William Vickers' large 1770 Northumbrian dance tune manuscript. Unfortunately, very little is known of Vickers.
