GREY EAGLE [3]. Old-Time, Breakdown. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBAACC'. This "Grey Eagle" variant, as well as "Grey Eagle (4)" are recognizably similar to the key-of-'A' "Grey Eagle" tunes. There are other key-of-'C' "Grey Eagle's" that are quite different (see "Tennessee Grey Eagle").
