TEA IN THE MORNING [1] ("Tea Air Maidin" or "Tae Ar Maidin"). AKA and see "Flag of the Fire," "Jimmy Guiry." Irish, Slip Jig(9/8 time). Ireland, Munster. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part (Howe): AB (Cole): AAB (Joyce, O'Neill): AABB (Kennedy, Stanford/Petrie). Compare also with Joyce’s “Irish Hop Jig” obtained from collector John Edward Pigot (1822-1871), which is a version of “Long Room of Scarborough (The).”
