BOYS OF BALLINAFAD, THE (Na Buacaillí O Bel-an-Ata-Fada). AKA and see "Teviot Brig/Bridge." Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). A Major (O'Neill): D Major (Miller). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. An Irish version of the Scottish jig "Teviot Brig/Bridge", first printed in Nathaniel Gow's Complete Repository Book IV (1817). Scottish printed versions predate O'Neill's collections.
