GYPSY'S HORNPIPE [2], THE. AKA and see "Boys of Ballycastle (The)," "Leggett's Reel." English, Scottish; Hornpipe. G Major or E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. In Ireland the tune is known as "Boys of Ballycastle (The)." It is printed in the Scottish Kerr's vol. 1 under the title "Leggett's Reel," in a section of Irish reels for quadrilles or country dancing.
