AS I WAS WALKING ONE MORNING IN MAY. Irish, Air (3/4 time). C Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. It is interesting to compare the song set to this tune with the Appalachian derivative song "One Morning in May"[1]. Although they are quite different in both words and music, they are both in triple time and clearly related.

Source for notated version : - "From P. Coneely" [Stanford/Petrie]. Paddy Conneely was an uilleann piper from County Galway and a source for many airs and tunes to mid-19th century collectors.
