RAPID TRANSIT CLOG. American, Clog or Hornpipe (cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Rapid Transit Clog" was first published in Philadelphia in 1908. Just six years prior the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company had been established to construct electric streetcar lines to West Philadelphia, a rapidly developing affluent and fashionable suburb.
