Small correction in last paragraph. The name should read "Lonnie Donegan." Lonnie Donegan & His Skiffle Group, recorded "Don't You Rock Me Daddy-O" on Mercury 71026X45, 7" 45 rpm (12 December 1956). It was also released on "An Englishman Sings American Folk Songs," Mercury MG-20229, LP (1956). On Donegan's recordings the tune/song is credited to Frederick William "Bill" Varley & Wallace Victor "Wally" & "Doug" Whyton.
