WINSTON TUNE [1], A. AKA - “Winston Scotty’s Reel.” Canadian, Reel (cut time). Canada; Cape Breton, Prince Edward Island. F Major (Cranford/Holland): G Major (Perlman). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Perlman): AA’BB’ (Cranford/Holland). Recorded and popularized by the great Cape Breton fiddler Winston ‘Scotty’ Fitzgerald.
