BARNARD'S WILL. AKA and see "Bernard's Well." English, Reel (cut time). England, Northumberland. G Major or G Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Northumbrian musician William Vickers' title, notes researcher Matt Seattle, is probably a corruption of "St. Barnard's Well." The well was on the outskirts of Edinburgh New Town, near the Water of Leith.
