R:Reel H:The Neilson Music ms is currently in the Fort Steele Museum in BC, but comes H:from lowland Scotland, in Cuilhill outside Glasgow. In the manuscript the key is H:indicated as 3 sharps, with no natural sign on the G notes, which is probably an error. Z:Typeset by V Williams from the Neilson Music Book. Culcuttie Hornpipe. Scottish, A mixolydian. This is from the John Neilson Music Book, a manuscript compiled in Cuilhill, Scotland in 1875. The title may refer to the children's game Curcuddie which involves hopping about in a squatting position.
