William Bradbury Ryan printed several close versions of the tune under the titles "Dan Backus' Favorite," "Terence's Ramble" and "Liverpool Jack's" in his Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). O'Neill printed a version of the tune as "Going to the Fair" as well as "Take your Choice." "Miss McGuiness (3)" is a quite distanced member of this tune family.
