County Dublin accordion player Sonny (Patrick Joseph) Brogan (1906-1965) was originally from Prosperous, County Kildare and made records in the 1930’s with The Lough Gill Quartet. He was also a member of Ceoltóirí Chualann under the direction of Seán Ó Riada.
