Tune properties and standard notation

HARRY CARMICHAEL. Scottish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Scottish bandleader and fiddler Angus Fitchett (1910–1998). "Harry Carmichael" is one of more than two dozen tunes written (perhaps by Fitchett) in a manuscript given to the late Jimmy Blair, who ran an accordion school. According to Blair's son, Gary, the manuscript was submitted to Kerr's for Publication but was never actually published [Scots-L, 1/31/2000].
