A Major (Ford): G Major (Bayard). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Bayard dates the tune to the 18th century; it appears in The Scottish Country Dance Book obtained from a Skillern collection of 1776. It was also printed by John Watlen (Edinburgh) and James Aird (Glasgow) in the 1790's.
