TOMMY PEOPLES’ (REEL) [3]. AKA and see “Beautiful Gortree.” Irish, Reel. E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB’. The reel was composed by fiddler Tommy Peoples who gave it the title "Beautiful Gortree." The title “Tommy Peoples” name for the tune comes from Scots fiddler John McCusker’s (formerly of the Battlefield Band) solo album.
