LAST OF JUNE. English, Country Dance Tune or Reel (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Last of June" is a variant of "Jenny Lind (1)" AKA "Jenny Lind's Polka." The source for the tune is fiddle and melodeon player Rose Murphy, who was born in County Galway, Ireland, but who lived most of her adult life in Maltby, South Yorkshire.
