MAID OF ARGYLE'S, THE. AKA and see "Colonel Wemys' Reel (2)," "Devil in a Bush (The)," "Kincaldrum," "Muldoon's Favorite," "Parson in the Suds." Scottish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Curiously, the same tune is printed in Ryan's/Cole's as "Muldoon's Favorite" a few pages distant from "The Maid of Argyle's." The reel has a Scottish provenance (see alternate titles).
