Source Paddy Carty also called the tune “Shores of Lough Reagh. Tommy Whelan (1872-1951) was a member of the famed Ballinakill Ceili Band (East Galway, AKA Ballinakill Players), who, with Eddie Moloney, formed the flute playing portion of the highly influential band.
