O BUT YE BE MERRY. AKA and see "O She's Comical," "Glen Where My Love Is (The)." Scottish, Reel. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Surenne): ABCDE (McGlashan). Cranford suggests that McGlashan added the last two strains with violinists in mind, but that the first four strains came from the piping world.
