The reel "La Rivière-du-Loup" was recorded in 1928 by Fortunat Malouin, however, the reel played today as "Reel de Rivière-du-Loup" is actually taken from the variations that Malouin played on the recording, popularized via the 1980 recording by Gabriel Labbé and Philippe Bruneau.
