SIR JAMES ST CLAIR'S MARCH. Scottish, March (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Sir James St Clair's March" was composed by biography:James Walker (1771-1840), musician, fiddler-composer and music teacher of Dysart, Fife, Scotland. Walker dedicated his first collection of 1793-4 to the Right Worshipful Master Sir James Erskine St. Clair of Sinclair, Bart., and the Worthy Brethren of the Freemasons’ Lodge in Dysart, and his second collection to Lady St. Clair Erskine of Sinclair.
