YESTERDAY MORNING (Maidin Ande). AKA - "Air Maidin a nae bhí Camadan Sgéil" (Yesterday morning there was a rigmarole of a tale). Irish, Air and Double Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Fr. John Quinn suggests a possible link to Donnchadh Ruadh Mac Con Mara's poem “Aodh Ó Ceallaigh” in tAthair Pádruig Breathnach's Sídh-Cheól vol. 2 (Dublin, 1926, pp. 118-119) which has the first line: “Ar maidin i ndé bhí camadáin scéil."
