GORMAN'S REEL [1] (Ríl Uí Ghormáin). AKA and see "Contentment is Wealth (2)," "Dessie O'Connor's Reel." Irish, Reel. D Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Taylor, Tubridy): AAB (Breathnach). Breathnach states that his source Ryan described "Gormans" as "a very old tune."
