COLLEGIANS' MARCH (Marche des Collégiens). AKA and see "Marche des Forges." French-Canadian, March (2/4 time). B Flat Major (Carlin): C Major (Begin). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB' (Carlin): AA'BB'A"A"' (Begin). The tune was recorded under the title "Marche des Forges" by the great French-Canadian accordion player and composer Alfred Montmarquette (1877-1944) in November, 1929 (released in 1930).
