CLOG EN LA. French-Canadian, Clog or Hornpipe (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Researcher Jean Duval suggests this clog may be an adaptation of 19th century Scottish fiddler Peter Milne's "Gellan's Reel". Duval also finds that a piece with a similar first strain was collected by Marius Barbeau from fiddler Arsène Jarry in the late 1910s.
