RIMOUSKI (LE). AKA and see "Madame Renault," "Reel de prosper." French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Researcher Jean Duval finds Boucher's "Le Rimouski" to be a variant of the Scottish reel "Bob of Fettercairn (The)." He also finds versions recorded by Joseph Allard under the title "Madame Renault" (1928), and by Isidore Soucy as "Reel de prosper" (1936).
