BANKS OF BURDISEL(?), THE. English, Reel (cut time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The title was partially illegible in the original ms. Anne Gilchrest, who copied much of Irwin's original manuscript (now lost) in the first half of the 20th century, remarked next to her transcription--"not called a hornpipe."
