RETREAT [2], THE. AKA and see "Buff Coat Hath No Fellow (The)," "Just as I Was in the Morning," "Moll Ross," "She wants a Fellow." English, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This melody under this title appears to be unique to London publisher Charles and Samuel Thompson’s 1765 country dance collection. However the tune is a variant of "Buff Coat Hath No Fellow (The)" AKA "She wants a Fellow."
