I'M O'ER YOUNG TO MARRY YET [2]. AKA and see "I'm Ow're Young, "Limerick Races," "Not too Young to Marry yet." Scottish, Strathspey. D Major (Cole): F Major (Hardings). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Boston publisher Elias Howe printed the tune in 2/4 time in his section of Irish Airs as "Limerick Races" in Musician's Omnibus No. 3 (1866, p. 220). Set as a reel, the tune was in the repertoire of church-band flute player Michael Harris of Cornwall, England, under the title "Not too Young to Marry yet."
