Boston publisher Elias Howe printed the tune in 2/4 time in his section of Irish Airs as "Limerick Races" in Musician's Omnibus No. 3 (1866, p. 220). Set as a reel, the tune was in the repertoire of church-band flute player Michael Harris of Cornwall, England, under the title "Not too Young to Marry yet."
