Irish, Double Jig (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Bayard's (1981) opinion is that this as one of the tunes descended from "Kenmuir's Up and Awa," a Borders song that appeared around 1792 and which gave the tune its name. The tune is used for the third figure of the "Caledonian Quadrille."
