Source for notated version: New York fiddler Tom Hinchy, originally from County Clare, by way of the whistling of Daniel Rogers, a native of East Clare living in Chicago, who had learned it from Hinchy-the title is O'Neill's [O'Neill]; New Jersey flute player Mike Rafferty, born in Ballinakill, Co. Galway, in 1926 [Harker].
